When I hear the word fur, the first thing my mind wanders to is the fur coat wrapped around the sinuous bodies of 1950s Hollywood stars, the "pimped-out" coats worn by some hip-hop stars on stage, or even the long, white ermine robes in which royalty is portrayed in old paintings. However, there is also a different side to fur, especially in interiors, which draws on feeling of warmth, cosiness, fuzziness and comfort, a bit like you would find in a cosy chalet in the mountains.
